esSAI StudOn is an artist-led practice centered on the work of Sai Li (esSAI). Through exhibitions, publishing, visual direction, and collaborative commissions, the studio extends artistic inquiry across disciplines, translating ideas into visual, spatial, and cultural experiences.
Each undertaking emerges from Sai Li's ongoing exploration of perception, color, memory, and human experience, where artistic research unfolds through dialogue, experimentation, and collaboration.
The name "esSAI StudOn" draws from three ideas: essay, study, and ongoing. It reflects a belief that artistic practice is never static, but remains a continuous process of observing, questioning, making, and sharing.

工作室以 Sai Li 的创作为核心，通过展览、出版、视觉策划及跨领域合作，将艺术研究延展至不同媒介与语境，转化为视觉、空间与文化体验。
每一项实践皆源于 Sai Li 对感知、色彩、记忆与人类经验的持续探索，并在对话、实验与协作中不断展开。
esSAI StudOn 的名称融合了 essay（思考）、study（研究） 与 ongoing（持续） 三重意涵，体现一种始终开放的创作观：艺术实践并非抵达某种固定结论，而是在观察、提问、创作与分享中不断演进。

Studio Manager
Qiija Bi graduated from the University of Michigan, where she studied Art History and Art & Design. She worked as a photographer in New York and Shanghai, actively engaged in leading visual and brand creative practices. Her practice across art, fashion, and branding has shaped a strong aesthetic judgment, visual storytelling ability, and editorial perspective.
Moving from photography to curatorial practice and brand building, she focuses on transforming images and everyday experiences into narrative-driven and emotionally resonant forms of expression. In her work, she applies a curatorial approach to content, translating observational experience into aesthetic systems that connect artistic expression with everyday life.
2016年毕业于密西根大学，主修艺术史与艺术设计。于纽约与上海以摄影师身份参与时尚摄影及品牌视觉创意项目。她长期跨越艺术、时尚与品牌领域的视觉实践，形成敏锐的审美判断、视觉叙事能力与编辑视角，并持续活跃于行业前沿的创意实践之中。
从摄影到策展，再到品牌构建，她始终关注图像与日常经验如何被转化为具有情感与叙事性的表达。
在品牌实践中，她以策展性的思考组织内容与叙事，将观察、记忆与旅行经验转化为可被感知与分享的美学体验，在艺术表达与日常生活之间建立真实的连接。
